Compare and contrast the physical properties of tap water and table salt

The tap water is a liquid while the salt is a solid at room temperature. The tap water is colorless while the table salt is white in color. The density of the tap water is 1 g/cm^3 while that of table salt is 2.165 g/cm^3. The table salt has a boiling point of 1, 413 degree Celsius while the boiling point of water is 100 degree Celsius. The melting point of water is zero degree Celsius while that of table salt is 801 degree Celsius.
Both tap water and table salts are matter, which have weight and occupy space. The two of them are made up of smaller particles which are bonded together in a specified manner.

The density of water is 1 g/cm cubed and in order for the pebble to sink its density has to be greater than the density of water and in order for the twig to float its density has to be less than the density of water
