What would happen if the distance between the earth and the moon decreased?

--the moon will revolve around the earth more often and faster, eclipses will occur more often both solar and lunar, The  moon will appear bigger in the sky, there will be higher tides as well as lower tides

Okay well gravitational energy is matter forced by gravity making energy though the kinetic energy then the electric energy produces electricity from the kinetic energy and the kinetic energy gets its energy from the gravitational energy. was that the answer you wanted or something else?
