In science, we have been studying the physical and chemical changes, along with the evidence of chemical
reactions. Based on your understanding, write 12 - 15 sentences about the following scenario.
Oh no! Someone/something has gotten into your science kit... the box is open with the cardboard ripped up and
science equipment is smashed all over the floor. The microscope is broken into 7 pieces, shattered glass is
everywhere from the broken test tubes, the direction page is all crumpled up, and there is a weird greenish
looking mixture that is bubbling, smoking, and burning a hole through the floor. What happened??
Consider what we have been learning in class about chemical and physical changes. Explain whether what
happened to your science kit was a physical change, chemical change, or both. Use evidence from the
description to defend your answer and clarify the difference between physical and chemical changes. What
evidence can you look for to determine if a chemical reaction has taken place?
Plz at least write 12 sentences I need to pass my test and I will mark you

The atomic radius of sodium is 186 pm and of chlorine is 100 pm. the ionic radius for na+ is 102 pm and for cl– is 181 pm. in going from na to cl in period 3, why does the atomic radius decrease while the ionic radius increases? a. the inner electrons in the sodium cation shield its valence electrons more effectively than the inner electrons in the chloride anion do. b. the inner electrons shield the valence electrons more effectively in the chlorine atom than in the chloride anion. c. the outermost electrons in chloride experience a smaller effective nuclear charge than those in the sodium cation do. d. the outermost electrons in chloride experience a larger effective nuclear charge than those in the sodium cation do. e. monatomic ions are bigger than the atoms from which they are formed.
