1) An insoluble, nonreactive metal sphere weighing 16.924g is added to 21.7mL of water in a graduated cylinder. The water level rises to 38.9. Calculate the density of the metal. 2) An empty beaker weighs 49.610g. A 10mL pipet sample of an unknown liquid is transferred to the beaker. The beaker weighs 86.700 g when weighed with the liquid in it. Calculate the density of the unknown liquid.

3) A sphere has a diameter of 58.88 mm. Using the geometry, what is the volume of the sphere in cubic millimeters.. Use 3.14 as an approximation for pi.

4) Carlos has been asked to prepare 10g of a 14% by weight solution of sodium chloride. How many grams of sodium chloride should Carlos add to his beaker before bringing the total mass to 10g?
