How is John Travoltage different from the balloon and sweater game on PhET?

(I'm so happy I saw your question because I happen to be someone out of a million who has done all the PhET simulations)

I am assuming that you understand basic electrodynamics

So the John Travoltagen sim demonstrates the atraction between two charges and how his finger was shocked, due to electrons moving from his finger to the door.

the balloon and sweater game however, shows how the electrons in the balloon push the negative atoms away and pull positive atoms (in the sweater) near to it.

The way i would put it is in the following:

The balloon and sweater sim demanstrates electrostatic charges.

Then the John Travoltage demonstrates electrical flow due to net charge.
