Look back at the previous rules. The new rule with lead and silver seems to break one! This brings up an important part of the solubility rules: their order. The rules form a list so when they seem to contradict, the higher one takes precedent. In other words, the first rule always takes precedent over the second, the second takes precedent over the third, etc. Using this idea, how can we order the three rules we have so far to remove any contradictions?
