If an astronaut travels to a planet with a much larger mass than earth, his weight will increase.

The acceleration due to gravity is defined as the force per unit mass on the earth's surface.

If we are now on another planet different from earth and the mass of the planet is much larger than that of earth, the value of gravity will increase.

Recall that weight is the product of mass and acceleration due to gravity.

W=mg

When g for this new planet is more than its value on earth but the mass of the astronaut remains the same, his weight in this new planet will be increased more than his weight on earth.
