Crystallization is a separation process which separates a solid from the solution where it is dissolved. This process involves heating up the solution until the solvent would evaporate, leaving a solution that is saturated. Then, this resulting solution is being cooled so that it would crystallize the solute since the solubility of the solute in the solvent would decrease. The crystals would then be collected by filtering it out the mixture. Therefore, the water in a solution is removed from the solute by the process of evaporation and by filtering the mixture making it as the filtrate in a crystallization method. 

Molarity is moles of solute over liters of solution. idk if that is what you are talking about, but you can convert moles of solute to grams of solute using dimensional analyzes by using molar mass found on the periodic table.
