What are the advantages and disadvantages of using an egg to model organelles in an animal cell?

The advantages of using an egg are:
-Convenient, easily accessible model
-Good representation of cell's ability to retain shape
-Good representation of cell membrane protecting cell's insides
-Yolk is good representation of nucleus, which is large and prominent in the cell
-The egg white accurately represents the cytoplasm, which is also jelly-like

Disadvantages:
-Difficult to discuss other organelles as no other easily visible structures present inside egg
-The inside of the egg is inaccessible and invisible 
-The cell membrane is not as rigid as an egg's shell
