Is cholesterol hydrophilic or hydrophobic?

Cholesterol as a molecule tends to be hydrophobic why?
The chemical structure of cholesterol contains many carbon and hydrogen covalent bonds, it's also a very large molecule and contains no polar bonds with the exception of the OH group at the end of it that is hydrophilic.

Since the majority of the molecule is hydrophobic the molecule is therefore hydrophobic.
