How does photosynthesis and cellular respiration work together, and why is it important?

Photosynthesis is the conversion of water and carbon dioxide with the help of light energy into glucose and oxygen. Cell respiration is the conversion of glucose and oxygen into water and carbon dioxide to produce energy called ATP. The ATP created in cell respiration is used during photosynthesis to create glucose from water and carbon dioxide. This glucose can later be used in cell respiration to produce ATP, and the cycle continues.

ATP is important to the plant because ATP is the energy that allows cell respiration to start and for photosynthesis to turn water and carbon dioxide into oxygen and glucose.

the catch is that the top numbers are atomic masses the bottom numbers are the numbers of protons and electrons in an uncharged atom. they are the number of that atoms as you would find them on the periodic table. further, the numbers on the left are used to determine the missing numbers on the right
