TOPIC: An Element of Order
Objective: A major objective of this course is for you to be scientifically literate in current issues. To be able to pick up a major newspaper,
magazine article, or reputable internet news site and be able to comprehend the information. This is the purpose of the P. S.L. assignment. The articles
originate from major news agencies such as ABC, CNN, FOX, or MSNBC.
Directions: Read the article "An Element of Order" and discuss how Mendeleev became known as the "father of the periodic table".
Please be neat. Answers to questions should be complete and at grade level quality. That does not necessarily mean long!
Article Focus: Read the article and write a summary explaining the circumstances surrounding who was finally credited
