In an experiment, 21 grams of magnesium carbonate were allowed to react with 300 cm3 of a solution of hydrochloric acid containing 2 moles of acid per dm3 of solution. The balanced chemical equation for this reaction is shown below. Calculate the number of moles of hydrochloric acid in 300cm3 of the 2 moles of acid per dm3 of solution used in the experiment.
