Hadzane is a completely oral language, but it is not predicted to be in danger of extinction. UNESCO says that the language is not endangered, but vulnerable because most children learn it, but its use is limited to certain areas of life, such as the home. [1] Hadzane is also considered the most important factor in distinguishing who is and is not really a part of the Hadza people. [9] In recent years, many of Hadza have learned Swahili, the national language of Tanzania, as a second language. [10]
