Now collect your data, starting with your resting pulse rate. Follow these steps, and write your results in the table. 1. Sit as still as possible for 10 minutes, and then measure your pulse for 10 minutes, and then measure your pulse for 10 seconds. Repeat this test two more times.
2. For each trial, multiply the measure by 6 to find the number of beats per minute.
3. Take an average of the three values to get an average resting pulse rate per minute.
