In this activity, you will use a gas properties simulation to collect data about gases, which you can apply to the ideal gas equation derived by combining Boyle’s law, Charles’s law, and Avogadro’s law. Before you begin, check the box for the Ruler tool, and align the ruler to the bottom of the box. (Because no other dimensions of the box change, length can substitute for volume.) Leave the Constant Parameter option at None. Part A
Use the pump handle to add some gas molecules to the container. The amount is up to you. Change the volume of the box, and heat or cool it as you like. If you accidentally blow the lid off, click the Return Lid button. In the data table, record the pressure (P), length (V), number of gas molecules (n), and temperature (T). Then click the reset button, change all of the variables, and again record the measurements. Repeat this process until you have five sets of measurements
