Recall Robert H. Millikan's experiment to calculate the charge of a single electron. Millikan took single drops of oil with different amounts of
electric charge in them. He then calculated how much charge was
required to put into the bottom of the box to prevent the oil drop from
falling all the way to the bottom. By looking at his calculations he was able
to determine the amount of electric charge on a SINGLE electron. What
were the dependent and independent variable for this experiment and
what was the constant?
