Why does pH matter if their concentration of ions are the same?

When an acidic solution is diluted with water the concentration of H + ions decreases and the pH of the solution increases towards 7. To make the pH change by 1, a tenfold dilution is required (eg adding 9 cm 3 of water to 1 cm 3 acids). The acid is becoming less acidic

a  solution  is always transparent, light passes through with no scattering from solute particles which are molecule in size. the  solution  is homogeneous and does not settle out. a colloid is intermediate between asolution  and a  suspension. while asuspension  will separate out a colloid will not.

the ideal gas law equation is as follows

pv = nrt

where p - pressure

v - volume

n - number of moles

r - universal gas constant

t - temperature

so if the pressure, volume and temperature are already known

we are left with n and r

since r is the universal gas constant that has a known fixed value then r too is known

so we are left with 'n'

once we know temperature volume and pressure

we can find the number of moles of gas present using the ideal gas law equation
