Hydrochloric acid, magnesium metal and universal indicator solution are added to a beaker.
Observations were made: A gas was produced, the beaker got hot, the metal dissolved and the color
changed from red (highly acidic) to yellow (slightly acidic). Based on these observation, what do you think happened, and what was responsible for each different observation.
