Does salt water have more or less cohesion than distilled water? why?

Salt water have less cohesion than distilled water.

Explanation: Cohesion is the inter molecular forces of attraction between similar molecules.

In distilled water there are molecules only which are bonded by hydrogen bonds and act as cohesive forces.

When salt is dissolved in water, it dissociates into ions and get surrounded by water molecules. Cations produced from salt start interacting with negative pole of water and anions produced from salt start interacting with positive pole of water, thus reducing the inter molecular forces present between water molecules.
