Treatment of TiCl4 at low temperature with EtMgBr gives a compound that is unstable above -70 oC. However, treatment of TiCl4 at low temperature with MeLi or with LiCH2SiMe3 gives compounds that are stable at room temperature. Explain these observations. Start with reactions written in .doc file. And explain by drawing what is happening to the first compound above -70 oC.
