Provide a retrosynthesis and forward synthesis (with complete reaction conditions) of the following compound from alkyl halides containing 6 carbons or less. The starting materials may be any type of alkyl halide (primary, secondary, or tertiary). You may use any other reagents you find necessary. I suggest drawing out intermediates to be sure you aren’t forgetting steps. Mechanisms are not necessary though very helpful. A retrosynthetic analysis is required for your work to be considered for grading. However, only your synthetic steps will be graded for correctness.
