Air with the mass of 50 gram experienced mechanically reversible 1. processes in a closed system. the initial state is 1 bar and 50°c. in the first process, air is compressed adiabatically, followed by cooling at constant volume to 5 bar and 60°c. these processes were then replaced by constant volume followed by constant pressure to 5 bar and 60°c from initial condition of 1 bar and 50°c. heat capacity at constant pressure cp-(7/2)r and heat capacity at constant volume cy-(/2)r. a. calculate the heat transferred (j), work (j), and change in internal enersy (j) for each process [10 marks] b. calculate the change in enthalpy (j) for each process. [3 marks] sketch the processes on a single pressure-volume (p-v) diagram and label the position of each volume and pressure. [4 marks] d. if the processes were irreversible with efficiency of 85%, determine v the real work (j) and heat transferred (j).

Lab reagent, hypothesis test.a reference solution used as a lab reagent is purported to have a concentration of 5 mg/dl. six samples are taken from this solution and the following concentrations are recorded: (5.32, 4.88, 5.10, 4.73, 5.15, 4.75) mg/dl.these six measurements are assumed to be an srs of all possible measurements from solution.they are also assumed to have a standard deviation of 0.2, a normal distributin, and a mean concentration equal to the true concentration of the solution.carry out a significance test to determine whether these six measurements provide reliable evidence that the true concentration of the solution is actually not 5 mg/dl.
