’i’ve posted this so many times and no one has responded! it’s due tonight the iron (ii) ion test combines the iron (iii) ion and the thiocyanate ion to produce a new polyatomic ion called the "ferrothiocyanate ion." a) what is the symbol and charge for the thiocyanate ion? be sure to state how you found this out b) if no electrons or atoms are lost in the combination, what is the symbol and charge for the ferrothiocyanate ion that is produced? for credit, you must clearly explain how answered both parts and give the source of any information in additional research "complex ions."
