Why carbon shows the property of catination? can any other element show the property 9f catination.

All over world 80–85% compound organic .in which all of made by carben due to high catenation.bcz carben have high catenation tendency than other elements bcz of Carbon low size high electronegativity and four valency ,

C-c bond dissociation energy is almost 80–85kilojoule so it show highest catenation, and other elements not show upto 50 kilojoule B.E .

Sulfer also show catenation in S8

Phosphorus also show catenation in P4.
