That gas would put too much pressure on your stomach and esophagus, perforating one or both of them. That would release the gas into your chest which would collapse your lungs. It may also perforate your diaphragm and traumatize your visceral organs, particularly your spleen and liver. You'd be in excruciating pain and unable to breathe on your own, and you might be bleeding to death.
