Gdp is defined as the market value of all final goods and services produced within a country in a given period of time. in spite of this definition, some production is left out of gdp. explain why some final goods and services are not included.

The gross domestic product (gdp) does not calculate all the transactions that were not reported. It only tallies what is reported. None of the under-the-table work is accounted for (ie. A contractor who pays his subcontractors cash only so they do not count it as income). All unpaid work is excluded. And everything on the black market is excluded. Homemakers are excluded because it would be difficult to put a number to all they do, and they do it for free. Numbers cannot be included in the gdp if they are not reported to the government.
