Jimi manages a large team that is in charge of testing consumer goods for safety issues. While everyone on his team is very good at his or her job, the team as a whole doesn’t work well together. Jimi estimates that they spend almost 50% more on each test due to problems with team cohesion and communication. As a result, Jimi wants to get his team to work better together. Jimi has a plan. He wants his team on a team-building retreat. It will require both money from the company to pay for it and also permission for everyone to be away from the office for those three days.
