Morty's Cafe is running a sales promotion on Thursday night, selling it's normally priced $8.00 burgers for just $5.00. Before they started doing the Thursday night special, Thursday's had been a slow night. On an average Thursday they would sell 100 hamburgers. But since they started doing this promotion, they average about 150 burger sales every Thursday, an increase of 50%! The cost to Morty's to make a burger they've calculated at about $3.00. Morty's still makes a profit on every burger they sell on Thursday nights, so should this be considered a marketing cost
