Moderna Co. mass produces a single product and uses process costing. In January 2021, Moderna had 100,000 units in beginning inventory (these units were 100% complete in terms of Direct Materials, DM, and 30% complete in terms of Conversion Costs, CC). During January, Moderna started another 600,000 units. At the end of January, Moderna had 80,000 units in process (these units were 100% complete in terms of DM and 75% complete for CC) but had 380,000 good units completed. Moderna adds all DM at the start of the production process and inspects the units when they are 80% complete for CC. How many units were spoiled in January
