Project: Write a Project Charter Many food products are the results of extensive research, development, and engineering. What may appear to be a simple fruit juice is actually the result of many tests to get the right balance of ingredients for taste, calories, and other specifications. Imagine you have been approached by the president of a large supermarket to develop a new food product for the store. You will write a one-page project charter based on a food you would like to invent. You may work with a group of students to develop a project charter or develop one on your own .

Assignment Directions
The one-page project charter should contain the checklist and pertinent sections. The charter will include a proposed budget and a schedule to make one sample of the product. The information can be based on online research or information you gather from food labels at a grocery store.

Assignment Guidelines
Using the information from your research, the project charter should contain the following information:

Executive summary
Project overview
Objectives
Project team
Constraints
Assumptions
Deliverables
Schedule
Budget
Authorization
Submission Requirements
Use standard English and write full phrases or sentences. Do not use texting abbreviations or other shortcuts.
Make the information easy to understand.
