How does social media lead to more anxiety in a child’s life?

Social media leads to more anxiety in a child’s life because of the preferred version of being “perfect” in a sense. Some children aspire to look like the people on the internet that look perfect to them, making them feel almost pressured to have to look that certain way.
Many others may also feel anxiety because the way people treat them on social media because of the things they do, say, or even how they look.
