Name two ways animals have adapted to the landscape of the sahara

All the animals that live in the desert must make adaptations that will help them to deal with lack of water and to deal with extremes in temperature. Some of the adaptations:
1.               Appendages for dissipating heat
Many desert mammals have evolved long appendages for dissipation of body heat like jackrabbits (the enormous ears, with many blood vessels), which release heat during the resting in a shady location.
2.               Pale colors
Some of the desert animals are paler than their relatives which live in different environments because pale color ensures them to take in less heat. Another advantage of this is that color makes them less conspicuous to predators.
