Which steps are important when designing and conducting a scientific experiment?

A scientific experiment refers to a detailed and organized array of steps that are needed to reject or validate the framed hypothesis. The steps, which are incorporated in a scientific experiment are:  

1. Identification of independent variable: The independent variable is the one that can be manipulated or changed in an experiment, that is, the effect of which can be witnessed on a dependent variable.  

2. Address any confounding variable: It is the one that comes from the outside, the changes resulting due to this variable impart an effect over the independent and dependent variables. This variable can bring change in the outcome of the experiment.  

3. Form a non-falsifiable hypothesis: A non-falsifiable hypothesis refers to the one that can be proved true on the basis of the implementation of suitable methodology and research design.
