I believe this is serial monogamy.
Serial monogamy is when you stay with only one mate for a period of time, then end the relationship to stay with a different mate for a period of time. Monogamy alone is staying with one mate consistently. Polygyny is having multiple mates at one time and polyandry would be when the female has multiple mates.
