Sleeping is a stage when there is low metabolism, and the brain gets sufficient rest. If a person lacks enough sleep, it disturbs the metabolism and affects different hormonal functions like insulin. Insufficient sleep affects the circadian rhythm of humans. He gets active during the night, which increases the appetite.  If you stay awake, you want to eat more. This is due to hormone ghrelin in the stomach, which stimulates hunger. The insulin secretion also reduces and blood glucose level is high. This thing leads to more fat and obesity.
