When has ocean acidification shown to widespread?

It's shown to widespread in areas where there's a high amount of CO2 in the air, possibly near factories or any buildings that release emissions and have a significant carbon footprint.
Remember, ocean acidification is a large rise of the PH level in water, as it becomes more of an acid as opposed to a base. Carbon dioxide traps heat, and it's possible that the heat contributes to the acidification, as well. The fact that Co2 traps heat is the sole reason for global warming.

Acidification is when Carbon Dioxide bonds with the ocean water and creates acid. This means carbon dioxide from the atmosphere is absorbed, and that causes the acidification to spread. For example, when boats that use fuel pass by, that can also help spread acidification.

The answer to this will be from your lab notes/procedure. it would be best to ask another student who participated in the lab as we do not know what was done, what enzyme or if the temperature is celsius or fahrenheit. if i were to guess though i'd say the rate stopped due to enzyme denturing at high temperature
