Caecilians have long streamlined limbless amphibian bodies. It looks like a snake, a worm but it is neither of the two. It lives under the soil. It can grow as long as 3 inches to five feet. It has protruding eyes while other kinds of caecilians do not have eyes. They have sensory tentacles between their eyes which they will use in hunting for preys. They have a segmented body and comes in different colors and sometimes in rainbow colors. They have a thick skull and pointed snout to be used in digging the soil. They have teeth and have muscular jaws.
