In what ways can nature provide insight into the mysteries of life and death

I believe that nature shows us that even though everything dies eventually it will be replaced by a new life.
It happens in nature all the time - when autumn comes, leaves fall to the ground, dead, but in spring, new leaves will replace the old ones. Similar to this, we will die at one point but we will be succeeded by our kids and grandkids.
