Some opponents of the theory of evolution dismiss the idea as being “just a theory.” why is this not a very good argument against the theory of evolution?

Because evolution is almost like the big bang theory in the sense that it it is basically all by chance and through mutations. and it is basically impossible for anything to evolve that much without a problem happening, and the speed that living organisms have evolved at wouldn’t make sense
