From the ileum after digestion, where does the fatty acids and glycerol go? do they ever go to the liver? right now i have been told that it goes to the lacteal, which connects to lymphatic system, which connects to thoracic duct, which connects to subclavian vein, which connects to heart. also, what does the body use the fatty acids and glycerol for?
