The occurrence of a cloudy medium after incubation signifies the presence of a bacterial growth.

A media is made up of substances such as nutrients that encourages the growth of disease causing microorganisms that can be found in the sterile areas of the body.

Some of these media contains agar which are gelatinous substances that hardens the medium.

Those media that does not contain agar are called broths. A typical example is the blood culture media

When blood which is a sterile medium is inoculated onto the blood culture media, the media should retain its color with a clear view if there is absence of microorganism in the blood.

But if the blood culture media appears cloudy after incubation, this signifies the growth of microorganisms (bacteria).

well first you need the sample of the temperature and gas level. i couldnt write a hypothesis unless i had some data. i think temperature changes will effect volumes of gas because gas changed into a solid or liquid at specific temperatures.
