Cost  of data: before data collection, a researcher should check if the data that is being considered is affordable. this is done to avoid quitting.Accuracy: there are different types of data collection techniques these include: questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, observation and case studies. the data collection technique that should be chosen should provide the most accurate results.Validity of data: if your findings will truly represent the phenomenon you are  claiming to measure, then the data collected is valid.
