 rainforests produce oxygen, remove carbon dioxide from the air, and are home to many rare species. part of rainforests are destroyed every year so that the land can be used for agriculture. once cut down, the rainforests can no longer be used as sources of wood or of animals to hunt for meat. a conservation society wanted to convince a town in paraguay to protect an area of local forest. the society presented data from the following cost/benefit analysis for three proposed sites. the town agreed to let one of the three areas of forest stand if the society paid the difference between the local value of the forest and the value of the same land as a farm. fill in the missing data and answer the question that follows
