The disease produced a fever and nasal congestion causing the tip of the nose to turn red. The bacteria that caused the disease was isolated and found to be a certain type of streptobacteria. A certain antibiotic called Curitall has been effective against other similar streptobacteria, and so an experiment was set up to test it Curitall would be effective against this certain type of bacteria.
