What will man be like in 1000 years?
The British newspaper The Sun brought together a group of British scientists, who portrayed
what the human being would be like in the next 1000 years. Based on the changes in diet as
well as the development of medicine and technology, they explained one by one all the
'mutations' that human beings would suffer:
• Their brain will be smaller because they will no longer use it, machines and computers will
take over the memorization work.
• The eyes of human beings will be enlarged, because the communications will be centered
basically in the facial expressions and in the movement of the eyes.
• The mouth will shrink because nutrition will be based on fluid intake. "We may even get our
nutrition from fluids or pills in the future, which could mean having fewer teeth and receding
jaws," says dentist Philip Stemmer.
According to this article please write a letter to the newspaper The Sun congratulating them, or disagreeing with
them. The letter (3 paragraphs) must contain two scientific evidences of evolution that supports your opinion.
