Smooth muscle fibers are located in walls of hollow visceral organs, except the heart.

Striated musculature is comprised of two types of tissues: skeletal muscle and cardiac muscle. Skeletal muscle is the tissue that most muscles attached to bones are made of. Hence the word "skeletal". Cardiac muscle, on the other hand, is the muscle found on the walls of the heart.

Cardiac muscle is a form of striated muscle so its obviously more similiar to striated muscle.

I – Smooth muscle cells occur in the walls of the alimentary canal and other internal organs, ducts of glands, urogenital ducts, and blood vessels. They are also found in the Stomach, Intestine, Ureter, bronchi, iris of eyes, etc.

II – Striated muscles occur in the muscles of limbs, body wall, face, neck, etc.

III – Cardiac muscle is similar to striated muscles, because ;

oxygen = 21% of the atmosphere

nitrogen = 78%

carbon dioxide = 0.1%

argon =0.934%
