You are an evil biology scientist who would like to end the WORLD AS WE KNOW IT! You have just discovered how to live forever and as a result, you now plan on taking over the world… through the power of EVOLUTION! You need to think about which organism / organisms you would need to focus on evolving and specific details about how they will evolve. Remember the key aspects of evolution and how it occurs over a long period of time.

Think about the base organism that you would like to evolve:
What key traits will they need?
How can you create an environment which will select for those traits?
How will you ensure that those organisms reproduce?
How will you include natural selection?
How will you include artificial selection?
Are key concepts like genetic drift or the bottleneck effect important?
Give specific breakdowns for the traits and how the organisms will develop the way you want them to.

You will need to create a detailed explanation of your plans including all necessary materials. This should be in a step by step format. You will need to include terminology from evolution -- you are an evil biology scientist and are extremely proud of your level of genius! You should include before and after pictures for your plans. These can be sketches or photoshopped images.

You need to research some evidence to back up at least some of your claims relating to the evolution of your species. Have animals previously evolved this trait? If so, how?

Once you have decided how to facilitate the evolution of your creature, you will explain how it will take over the world. Explain how scientists, technology, society, and the environment will fight against the destruction that you plan on causing. What are the possible impacts? You need to include at least 3 of these sections and explore how they will fight back so you can be prepared.

Suppose that on a small island off the coast of scotland, 32 percent of the population has blue eyes, which means that these individuals must be homozygous for the blue eye color gene (bb). the only other eye color found on the island is brown, and individuals that are homozygous for the brown eye color gene (bb) or heterozygous (bb) will have brown eyes because brown is the dominant gene. assume this population is in hardy-weinberg equilibrium. if 100 babies are born next year, how many of these would you expect to have brown eyes and be heterozygous? a. 58 b. 49 c. 29 d. 43

Clara wrote the following hypothesis for an experiment about acidophilic bacteria. bacteria cells will stop dividing in a basic (alkaline) environment because of the high ph. which statement is the best way to restate the hypothesis so that it is more specific? growing acidophilic bacteria in some environments will cause the cells to stop dividing because of ph. if the ph of their environment is changed, acidophilic bacterial cell division will be affected. if the environment of acidophilic bacterial cells becomes alkaline, the bacteria will stop dividing. the more alkaline an environment, the less cell division will occur in bacteria.
