Part One: Your Rube Goldberg Device Design Instructions: You will need to create a blueprint to design your own Rube Goldberg device. Then, you will need to BUILD IT and complete each of the sections of the lab report (provided later). Your Rube Goldberg device design must include:
A task you are looking to accomplish at the end (ex: turning on a light, opening the fridge, etc)
at least 6 stages
at least four energy transformations to perform a simple task (ex: kinetic, potential, chemical energy, radiant energy, sound energy, electrical energy, thermal energy, magnetic, etc)
Part One: Draw It
If you draw your device, you will need to turn in your device design along with a written description of how each step works. You may choose to draw it freehand and scan or photograph the drawing, or you may use a computer program to digitally create your device. You can either write a description down in a box at each stage on the drawing OR submit the written descriptions separately. Insert below, if possible.
