Describe how the water molecules acted in the ice tray in the freezer

This is where a hydrogen atom in one molecule is strongly attracted to an electronegative atom (in this case, oxygen) in the other. When enough energy is absorbed by H2O, the molecules vibrate so vigorously that these bonds are loosened, giving them space to bounce around. This forms the liquid we all call and consider “water”.
